O2em Rom Utility Vesrion 0.9

This utility is a bulk file renamer for O2em rom files. Unlike MAME and other emulators, O2em does not used fixed/predefined file names for it's rom files. The O2em front ends (O2emLauncher, VPDB) use a CRC32 calculation to uniquely identify the rom files. O2em also uses the same CRC32 to name the snapshots it creates. This can make O2em a pain to set up in most of the front ends (Khameleon, MALA, AtomicFE, etc) that are not specifically written for O2em.

I have written this utility to make it easier to set up O2em in non O2em frontends. It takes every .bin file in your roms folder, makes a backup copy, and then renames the original as the CRC32 value so that it matches the name used for it's snapshot. For example: o2_06.bin becomes 95EFA98B.bin. This makes the rom match the snapshot which makes it easier to set up the game lists used by most front ends.

In addition to the backup files, a log file is created showing how the files were renamed.

An additional feature that I would like to add is a .xml and/or .dat output file that can be imported by the configuration utilities that most arcade front ends have.

In this .zip file I have also included the .ini used by O2emLauncher and a sample game list for the Khameleon front end.
